The processing and use of minerals and metals

So How are the Molybdenite Concentrates Used

When the Climax molybdenum deposit, the world’s largest known deposit of molybdenum ore, was discovered in 1878, it was initially thought to be a silver deposit but the geologist soon discovered it was not sliver, but a little known and not used mineral called molybdenite.  Today molybdenum has many uses from an alloy used to harden steel, to uses in high temperature steel blades used in jet engines, to lubricants used for many purposes.  This lecture discusses the many present day uses of molybdenite.
